I'm glad I gave it a try!!!
After reading some of the comments( see below) I thought I was putting my life in danger by going, But I'm happy to report I'm still here!!!! ...and happy to say LOVED the place, the food is good, the service is good, and had the best time on a date in this place. Highly recommended

The Jewel on Church Street
The Place is beautiful, the food was really good and prices are fair, loved the ambiance. This place is just what Church Street. Needed!!!!!

not only were they rude when making a reservation, the food was awful and the service was terrible! NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!

At least the bathrooms were nice ...
Waitress was cold and abrupt and the food was bland. Crusted mozzarella app -- basically glorified mozzarella sticks. Could have gotten the same thing at TGI Friday's for half the price. Chicken and shrimp pappardelle -- chicken was old, and only three pieces of baby shrimp. Mahi mahi special -- fish was overcooked, and mashed potatoes were instant. Seriously?

Wonderfull !
Our family tried it over the holidays (there was a huge wait at. Raymonds ) and it was great! The place is beautiful, very cozy, and the service was outstanding. The food was good and prices were not bad. I will love to go back next time I'm in town!

Better than I thought!
I went here last night with my brother and sister-in-law b.c Market was closed while they find a chef. I was a little hesitent b/c their prices were high and often food doesn't meet to the standard of it. I have to say that the food was delicious!! I had the grouper and it was wonderfully cooked and the broth it was served with was devine. The ambience was great. I'd definitely go back again!

HORRIBLE PLACE!!
The worst management!! They want to be like NYC resturant but they have a lot to learn. First- How to treat customers. Went once with friends and the 2nd time with my family and they would not seat us because we have kids...plenty of tables open! We were walking by and saw they had kids menu but no! Will never go back and I hope no one else does. Food was just okay the first time I went anyway. Save your money and go to Raymonds or Market.
