I love everything about this restaurant. The staff is friendly. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is warm. I come here as often as I can!

SOOO DELICIOUS!
The wonderful spice aroma that greets you when you walk into this jewel is just the start of an experience that makes you smile. The ambiance, the warm staff, the fun of eating with your hands, and of course the wonderful freshly prepared food - it all blends together and keeps you coming back. My favorite is the ingudai tibs - outrageous portabello mushrooms!

Excellent Ethiopian Cuisine
Family owned, nice ambience with traditional ethiopian style furniture, and authentic food - Our favorite is spongy freshly baked bread "INJERA".

Our New Favorite!
My husband and I had never had Ethiopian food before, so we decided to try something new. The food at Mesob was absolutley phenomenal! My husband had some kind of lamb/beef sampler with 3 kinds of vegetables - lentils, chickpeas and string beans - which he loved. I had shrimp tibs (tomato and shrimp stew..but very light) with collard greens (never had these before..so good) and lentils. The injera bread that you eat with is also very good. The flavors were just wonderful! The sevice was also excellent. The owner made sure to come around and introduce herself. This is definitely one of our new favorite restaurants!

Eat here at least Once a Week!
I eat at Mesob at least once a week and I absolutely love it. The food is deliciously, uniquely spicy. The service is hit or miss, but the food is amazing! Definitely a great place for a date, very sensual food and atmosphere.

Great Food But Bad Service
Waited a long long long long time, and actually had a waiter scold us (party of 9) for trying to order half a vegetarian plate (offered to pay for a whole one, offer denied). We only had one vegetarian who didn't need so much food, but this was obviously way too much to ask. Rude!

Since Makeda in New Brunswick changed hands about 2 years ago-this is the spot!
My favorite restaurant in Montcalir. Staff is lovely, owner is fabulous, food is always great.
