Wow......
Our first time here was not a pleasent one. First thing that made me angry was they brought my soup well after my entree at which point i did not even touch it. The food was ok nothing special at all. The service was horrible! We barely saw our server and it was not crowded at all. Went back a second time only because we had a coupon. But after being seated we waited 20 min and no one came to our table and we just left and went to the office where we know we'll get served in a timely fashion. Wont be going back here, even with the $20 off coup.

Stay Away
What a horrible way to start the year. I'm a pretty easy-going person, but I feel compelled to share the experience I had during New Year's brunch at this place. This has to have been among the worse (if not the worse) dining experiences I've had in a long, long time. Where do I start? With the misleading brunch menu? The young inattentive waitresses who appeared to have the attention span of a squirrel? The terrible food and service? My partner and I never received the water we requested, the person at the "omelet station" was totally inexperienced, the waffles we ordered took too long to arrive at the table and when they did arrive they were burnt and cold (now that really took some effort!). Even after the food arrived we had to twice ask for silverware. The only good thing I found at which the waitresses were adept were apologizing and making excuses for "the kitchen" and their inattentiveness service. Upon leaving I'm sure they knew we would never return. Oh, the mimosas were OK - it's kinda hard to screw that up.

Less than impressed
Formerly from the Montclair area I decided to head out for the evening dinner & drinks. Got to the resaurant and waited several moment to be acknowledged. Finally ordered a beer and watched as there was ciaos behind the bar. inmature and unattentive servers that provide poor service. The one bright spot was the food. Very tasty! Could have been an off night let's hope for improvement!

Good Neighborhood bar & restaurant
I live in Montclair and South Park is my standby when I want a night out. It isn't one of the fancier restaurants in town (Hence the 3 rating), but it certainly gets the job done with good food and drink. Great alternative to The Office.
