Need Bigger Tables
Great place to sit outside and eat..but the tables are too small and the chairs are very uncomfortable (seems like they can tip over very easily). Other than that, great little place! Food was awesome!

One of the most overrated places for breakfast!
Everyone raves about Raymond's breakfast as though they were serving something special. We've eaten there a number of times and find the food ordinary. Whether it's pancakes or eggs - honestly folks - they make 'em just as good at many other places in Montclair! If they weren't on upscale Church Street, they'd be just another place to eat. Not saying the food isn't good. I'm just saying that it's not the Second Coming. And certainly NOT worth the wait on weekends.

Grilled chicken disaster
These people cannot even make a grilled chicken sandwich. They chop it up, dump sauce over it and serve it chilled. Poor service, rude staff , over priced a joke.

My favorite.
I lived right on Church St, and it is my favorite restaurant. There are a lot of other great ones there, but when you add in the service and the atmosphere....it's just great.

What is so special?
Loud and crowded. Food was totally mediocre and portions are on the small side. Quick service but very impersonal. Clearly popular, although I'm not sure why. Based on our exp. at other Montclair restaurants, there is no need to go back here.
