The food is excellent! Try the tasting menu. The atmosphere is warm and intimate. It's a great place to catch up with friends and a great date night spot. Thumbs up!

amazing
4 of us had Bay scallops, sweetbreads, mackerel and risotto. entrees, hager steak, mahi mahi, venison, skate. the only way to describe it is amazing and incredibly low prices, This NYC 4 star food, Yes the service is not up to par with food or 4 star service but neither are the prices.

Good Food, needs nicer staff
The people that answer the phone and act as hosts for this restaurant are full of themselves. Very snotty and unwelcoming. This is not the W hotel in Manhattan. The wait staff, however, are nice and accomodating. The food is good. Remember to bring a bottle of wine!

I am guessing that most people who have said something negative dont understand this kind of food,to simply put it its extraordinary, as good as any 4 star in manhattan

small portions, big bill
Paid $24.00 for a huge bowl which housed 4 smallish scallops on a bed of corn kernals! left hungry and poorer

There was such a hype around this place and it simply didn't follow thru. Staff and patrons made it seem like we were in a hole in the wall.
